Our Story
Raya Spa and Raya Products are the result of a labor of love by Raya and her husband Norman. What started as a love for and belief in skin care, has grown into 50 years of dedication to creating flawless complections.
Raya begins her skin care career as a registered nurse in dermatology and cosmetology in Eastern Europe.
1963
Raya, her husband, and their two young children move to Los Angeles
1981
Raya's small skin care studio opens on the corner of Melrose Ave. and La Cienega Blvd. in Los Angeles. At the same time, with the support of her husband, Norman - a former scientist and engineer, she starts to make Raya skin care products.
1982
Raya Skin Care Studio moves into a larger space across the street on La Cienega Blvd.
1987
As demand increases for Raya products, production expands into a 20,000 sq ft. facility in North Hollywood, California.
1990
Raya Skin Care Studio expands again, this time creating a new 10,000 sq ft. flagship spa next door to the existing skin care studio on La Cienaga Blvd.
2005
Raya opens its new 100,000 sq ft. production facility in North Hollywood, California
